Pilot study of fibromyalgia (FMS) confirms success in more than 600 FMS patientser 600 FMS-Patienten
That the healing-cave cure achieves its beneficial effect and increasing acceptance among FMS patients and prescribing doctors, is confirmed by the constantly rising cure statistics: while in 2002 there were only 40 patients who undertook the healing-cave cure in Gastein, 600 afflicted persons could be treated successfully in 2006.
The recently concluded pilot study concerning the months of alleviation from pain following the healing-cave cure gives justified reason for hope that a life with FMS must not fundamentally mean a life of pain without end.
The pilot study was presented to the press on 12 January to the theme of the situation of fibromyalgia patients confronted with previously insufficient treatment possibilities and thus insufficient care.
